Give Back This Holiday Season
Donate Blankets! New or Gently Used Blankets Are Needed for Fr. Joe’s Village. Student Council is collecting new or gently used blankets for Fr. Joe’s Village. There is a great need for this item, as temperatures are dropping. Please send blankets to your child’s classroom.
Toy Drive
Two SJA graduates, members of the National Honor Society at CCHS, are currently collecting Christmas gifts for homeless infants and children up to 16 years old. Please submit wrapped gifts indicating the approximate age and gender of the recipient to the box in the front office. Gift and cash donations can be made through December 7th. Wonder Field Trip Monday 11/27
Please make sure your child is ON TIME to school on this day. We will be leaving at 8:05 sharp. The film starts at 9:00 in Mira Mesa. Thank you in advance to my WONDERful drivers: Erin Dionisiou, Sandra Van Gilder, Tina Gilmore, Jennay Gunderson, Lyn Jutronich, and Kim Davis! We will be back to school by normal lunch time so students who order Ki's can get their lunch.
Students must wear their SJA uniform -NO PE uniforms! NO snacks may be purchased at the theater or brought from home. We will have snack time when we return to school.
Kindness Week is the Week We Return From Break! 11/27-12/1
The students will be participating in kindness themed activities all week long. Please encourage them to complete their "Kindness Challenge List" all week long.
Christmas Pageant Attendance
Please let Mrs. Oldham and myself know ASAP if your child will not be present for the Christmas Pageant on 12/21. Students who miss the pageant will have a make-up assignment in music class. Thank you!
Please Join Us For Christmas Caroling at the Nursing Home on December 19th. We need chaperones and drivers! Use the sign up to volunteer. Thank you!
